Batam .......

After the last Genting trip to celebrate our 1 yr aniversary... we went for a 1 night trip across the sea to Batam Island for my birthday!!... I know it is another long wait for my Batam photos.. hahaha... sorry guys...here are the photos....

Our beachfront villa.. very pretty and nice considering I always love such wooden chalet style accommodation.. 
However the weather wasnt quite good when we arrived though... huge storm coming our way.. look at how dull and angry the sky is... dark and gloomy welcome to Batam.. 
After the storm, we setted out for a exploration walk to check out neighbouring areas... but our camera got all misted up due to the aircon in the room.. just like when we were in Genting.. hehe

We can actually see the night landscape of SIngapore from our chalet / villa (whatever you call it)... and we tried to take many many photos of the beautiful scenary but all photos turned out to be a failure so we turned the camera and shot ourselves instead.. waahhaah turned out quite nice le... hahaha 
 
 
 
Oh you see the rows of chalets right in front.. those are actually the spas villas.. i went for one of their massages.. they are super good you know.. and becoz of its good location on the rocks, you hear the sounds of natural waves splashing on the rocks.. not from CDS anymore.... beautiful... so beautiful you wont want to doze off and miss the entire experience...and I took some artistic photos that turned out really nicely blue... woah.. I am so proud of my photo taking skills...

Ok that is all for photos... missed out on quite alot of details actually... like the spas people, the good view from the spa villa, the nice food that we ate.... never mind la... i got my previous memories...

After we checked out, we went for a one day tour around Batam, shopping and shopping only loh.. quite boring.. nothing much to buy also really... the original POLO tees are real cheap but becoz me and dar both soo small size, very hard to find the correct size so we gave up looking.. ended up buying a packet of crackers back to SG.. damn cheapo sia.. as if Singapore cannot find...
