Happy New Year......

Yippees... a new year means a new beginning.... hopefully 2007 will be sooo much better than 2006... (although 2006 arent that bad either)... of coz humans are greedy.. we always wan more!!

How was your new year celebrations everybody?? Mine was boring... but it was good... I guess sometimes it is good to bore ourselves a little... hahaha... time spent with my darling is precious and valuable so every single minute of it counts... and I spent most of my time with my dar over the new year so I am a happy and contented gal... hehe

Me and dar went on half day leave today... he finally finished clearing all of his leave while i still have about 5 days more to clear in Jan... (actually i am supposed to be on full day but due to the Internet connection being down for the third day now, I have to go back to office to clear some remaining stuffs)... so around 1+ we met up at Pandan Gardens to collect our Pica.. hehe so excited really... left Pandan Gardens abt 2+ coming to 3pm I think... went for a supper late lunch in Woodlands... then went back to dar's place to take a rest for a while... before proceeding to Sembawang 1036 Seafood Restaurant (that was around 9pm coming to 10pm) to have a super late dinner cum supper with dar's parents, Uncle Colin & Auntie Mary family inclusive of little baby Melson and Charmaine, Ah Ben and his family together with his gf plus Auntie Juliana, Bridget and Kimberly.. his auntie and cousins from Aussie who are on a 4 days shopping, sightseeing cum relative visiting trip to Singapore... wah total 14 of us sia... we had a really sumptous dinner consisting of fishhead steamboat, fried toufu, butter sotong, black pepper and tomato ketchup crab, kailan in oyster sauce and mongolian pork ribs... after which we took his aussie relatives to Mutasfa for shopping... we just shopped for a few accessories for baby Pica then we decided to make our way home liao.. too tired liao.. lousy man...

Darling got to go back to work in the morning... actually he is just supposed to go back and clear some remaining work... however to realise that his colleague didnt turn up for work so he got to help cover up.... he didnt have enough sleep due to the late night and early in the morning he got to go to HDB to buy baby Pica season parking coupon... poor dar dar... and me.. of coz i slept late... not really that late anyway.. woke up abt 9am in the morning.. went out to the bank to settle some of my investment funds stuffs.. then settled everything.. came home and had lunch with daddy... while on standby mode for darling to finish off work... but wait wait wait... darling only finished off work at 6pm... hahaha... after i took a nap and surfed finish all the websites that catches my interest... then dar got to rush down to Orchard to meet up with the buyer for the bike to clear the remaining payment as well as passed him the remaining spare parts and the manual.. soooo by the time we met up.. it was 8pm.. hahaha... went back home to pick up Bridget and Kimberly for dinner... brought them to eat Japanese food at Sakae Sushi... ahaha.. i think they enjoyed it la.. not very sure also.. hahaha.... after which we sent them home to Uncle Colin's place where they are staying during their trip... stayed over at Uncle Colin's place for a while (not very nice to leave straight away ma...) so by the time we left his place... it was 11pm plus... poor darling.. he is so super tired from the long day u cannot imagine... hahaha...

We both slept really late....... hahaa... as we were both very tired.... mummy and daddy went back to Batu Pahat to attend one of my relative's wedding... so only left me and my brother at home... gave a call to dar and he came over to pick me up around 12 noon... went to Blk 211 for lunch... before going to AutoBacs at Bukit Timah to pick up some accessories and then to Express Motion at Thomson Road... in the end we were there till 6pm... goss... super tiring... supposed to go send Auntie Juliana, Bridget and Kimberly at the airport as they are taking 7pm flight but too late... so forget abt it.. went back home to take a rest first while waiting for people to call and confirm tiu with us... hahaha... super a lot of tius but none of which we are interested to go to... it is either too expensive or too packed to our liking... Junxian wanna go One Night Stand (cover charge is SGD 88), Wenliang and Xiao Shun wanna go some ulu pub / disco at Geylang (not very nice for a lady to go to so darling didnt wanna bring me there)... then changed to Parklane... then in the end Wenliang and Junxian ended up going to Dbl O... and me and dar... we ended up at a small cosy restaurant called Buckaroo BBQ & Grill at Sembawang... very nice atmosphere with a very quiet surrounding... the food servings were super huge.. of coz the same goes for the price... I ordered a Pan Dory Fish (SGD 26.90) and dar ordered a 1/2 BBQ chicken (SGD 21.90)... we thought there isnt much veggies so we happily went to order a Caesar salad (SGD 14.80) and drinks... total bill added up to about SGD 79 for two of us... *faint* we had such a hard time trying to finish our food becoz the potion is just sooo huge lo... my fish came with a whole baked potato and a huge pile of salad.. and dar came with potato wedges and salad... and we still have salad as a side dish...

Food for the mighty!!

hmmm.. we were soooo full after that u can imagine.. after that we went down to Yishun Dam to meet up with Jinlong and Ah Xiong for a chat... the dam is super packed... very hard to find parking... and to our surprise we can see fireworks at the stroke of midnight... hehehe.. and someone actually lighted two "Kong Ming" lanterns... hehe... sounded rather boring really but I would say it is good... I didnt wanna to join any of the countdowns anyway considering that those places will be damn packed.. and I wasnt really interested to scream HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone I saw on the streets.. so something like that.. quiet gathering with a few frenz and my dar is more than enough.... most importantly.. me and dar didnt touch a drop of alcohol... what a relief... ahhaha

1st January 2007
While everyone is out having fun, shopping and meeting up with frenz... hahaha.. two of us were hiding at home washing our baby Pica... wahahahaha... we spent the entire day lo... sweating like crazy under the hot sun... washing, cleaning, waxing and polishing it until it shines... hahaha both me and dar agreed it is good exercise for both of us... since we seldom do much during normal days... ahaha... and the good thing we both share something to do together... hehehe... after baby Pica, we came back home and crashed in bed.. super tired sia... took a nap before proceeding to Johor, Malaysia with his parents for dinner... hehhe... saw a rainbow.. two in fact... right outside his doorstep...

went into Malaysia via the first link / old causeway about 7+.. came back home to find ourselves right smacked in the middle of a jam... damn sianz.... by the time reached home 12 midnight... again tired like crazy sia... like rushing tius... ahhaha

2nd January 2006
Slept late again and woke up with flu... both of us... i didnt really have a good slp due to mossie attacks... had lunch at home before going out to Sembawang to get some accessories for baby Pica.. in the end came out empty handed except a toothpaste.. drove to Yishun Dam again for a walk in the hot sun ... then we ended up observing how easy people catch fishes.... the way I see them fish... I think I can also pretty much do it myself... hahahaha... came back home... only for a while before meeting up with Wenliang.. in the end we went back to Sembawang again for dinner and drinks.. ahhahaha....

That's it for the start of my New Year... hahaha... new year resolutions coming up soon.....
