After Sec 4, i worked part time at a Thai Restaurant and this was my uniform.. hehehe... it is basically just a tank top with a sari pinned around it... look nice?? I liked it alot last time even though it is really hard to wear at the beginning.. trying to pin it behind without anyone help is a tough one to learn..

i know i just blogged... but i just went to look at Dawn Yang's blog who is btw one of my links... and i swear i need to blog again.....

she looks so DIFFERENT comparing now and when she was in secondary school lo (btw oh yah she posted pictures of her when she was in secondary school).... pls la.. it is so damn obvious... i remember hearing something about her having plastic surgery and stuffs... and now i am thinking to myself... so this is what you can do when you have MONEY!!!

with money you can have plastic surgery... with money you can have good branded makeup kits (which certainly wun give me rashes like my lousy unbranded makeup kit when you apply a thick layer of makeup to your face everyday)and of coz good branded makeup remover is certainly a must... ok.. morale of the story is when you have money you can surely look as pretty and as beautiful as you want to be...

damnz.... talking abt the world being unfair...

P/S: after looking at her blog, i went and looked through all my pictures in my com.. shit man i think i really look pathetic... maybe i shld really heed my dar dar's advice and start putting in some bloody hell effort on makeup and appearance.. if not i seriously cannot understand why pretty and vain yet dumb bimbos like F are always so popular with guys and they always get all the attentions wherever they go... they have no brains.. what the fuck do they have other than looks??

God pls... let me strike TOTO for once... big one... and i gurantee you i will walk into a makeup shop like Bobbi Brown and spend more than 500bucks buying every single thing the salesperson offers to me.... I make sure my dressing table collapse with the entire bulk load of makeups, toners, moisturizers, cleansers, masks, scrubs, whitening lotions, makeup removers etc etc i can get my hands on... and I make sure i have a facial appt every single weekend... i will go for slimming appts, i will go to the dentist, i will go for plastic surgery.. do up my face especially my boobs!!... i buy a entire new wardrode full of clothes... and i make sure noone ever recognise me to be Christina Chua in secondary school!!

Hehe... the smaller EEyore was darlingz's first gift to me... the pioneer of the pioneer!! most senior of them all.. hehehe... at first it was staying over at my place.. but now it has shifted to darlingz's bed instead.. and the big one is with me... hehehe... the big EEyore is huge!!! one of the biggest soft toys I have now... hehehe... we brought it at Suntec and we managed to squeeze it into darlingz bikebox and brought it all the way back to Woodlands.. hahaha... imagine the size of it

It has been a long time since I brought a CD album.. not that i downloaded them all but I just dun think there are any albums worth spending money on to collect dust...the last album I brought "BossaNova" was like one year ago..

 

But these two albums are really good... their music are beautiful.. even though not many may agree seriously... hehehe... and I would say not many people appreciate such boring music thou.. make some feel sleepy... make some feel bored...

make me feel damn relaxing thou.. hehe.. sometimes it is just pure enjoyment to lie in bed, read a good book, enjoy some peaceful moments with some nice smoothing music in the background.. woo hoo.. life is good

Mini Figurines...

recently me and darling got a new hobby... hehehe..

we are starting a collection of mini figurines and tumblers... mainly from the Winne the Pooh series especially EEyore!!! I think we both love EEyore so much.. it has become a habit each month to buy something EEyore related for each other... hehehe... EEyore soft toys.. EEyore photo frames... EEyore tumblers.. Recently we even brought a EEyore corner ball.. u know one of those that u stick at a sharp corner of the table to prevent knocking ur leg against it and injuring yourself?? Yah.. i know... anyway we got that sitting at a corner of the coffee table which he used as a computer table now...

last Sat night we went out and brought two more!!! the two mini tumblers you see in the middle of the picture below are the two new members of the family... i got the mickey mouse one long ago... a few years back i think.. the first of the family.. then Darling got me the Tigger one last year... i got a EEyore one too but it is currently sitting on top of darling TV and not with me.. hehehe...

New Haircut

Haha.. i have a surprise for everyone.... especially for those frenz who haven't seen me for a very very long time... or frenz who have known me for a very long time...

on sat when i first got that haircut.. i seriously think i look dumb... hahaha.. but after 2 - 3 days ok la.. actually i dun look too bad.. quite like it leh... gd change i guess... a very different me... hehehe..

Company Gathering at Little Bali

Went to work as per normal. The day started with a scissor paper stone game with Nic for a cup of coffee.. hahaa.. ok it is a long story.. but in short there is only one packet of coffee left in the office... so it just happen that me and Nic we are in need of a coffee to start off the day.. so when we realised that there is only one packet of coffee left for one of us.. Nic insisted that I have the coffee and I insisted that he has it.. and so in the end I decided to use the game as a mean of deciding the final winner.. hahaha... nice one lo.. created some laughter in the office.. next we went for a lesson with Adam on the shipping & bunkering industry... I mean yah i do know something abt the industry after working there for so long but i just wanna to learn more... so i thought it was a gd chance for me to learn some new knowledge about the various classifications of trade, tankers, ships and operators... good lesson learned from a experienced director of ours.. then me and Ling Ling went for an early lunch as we need to run some errands.. came back and worked as per normal..

Around 7.. me, Ling Ling and Hong Liang left for Little Bali (for anyone interested in finding out more about this chilling out place.. the website is www.littlebali.com) we went there for a company gathering.. mainly organised to welcome Adam and our two new colleagues.. never been to that place before even though i did hear about it a couple times.. anyway supposed to be there for drinks but i insisted on not drinking together with Ling Ling.. i will not get myself into the situation of getting drunk and having itchy rashes all over my body... so i ended up going for a mocktail with the nice name of Sunrise.. which tasted very much like orange juice.. not very nice but not that bad la.. hehe.. then we ordered food.. very difficult meal.. the table we sat at was very small so all of us have to hold on to our plate individually.. but it is overall ok... then the chit chat session starts..

as the night dragged on, it became a little boring for me thou... can't believe i used to love such places, love chionging, love alcohol.. now all these has become a boredom for me really.. dunno what cause the change in me but yah.. i am surprised at it myself... i wasnt even interested in going at first.. just wanna to go home straight after work and nua at home.. but forced to make the trip down for entertainment purposes.. but yah i got to tag along la.. no matter what.. so there I was..

Nic and Adam both got a cigar.. actually i wanted to try... but the cigar smell really strong and i wasn't sure if i will like it or not... and i wasnt even sure if i will be able to smoke it properly without choking on it and making a fool out of myself... so considering all the pros and cons of the situation i decided to give up on the idea and for a bit i hate myself for it.. hahaha.. but never mind.. i believe i will get over it sooner or later.. then Faith order shishah..(look at the picture below)




it look really cool loh.. i saw someone smoking that in a nearby area when we first arrived at the pub so i was really curious about how the whole thing work really.. hahaha.. so when it came, all of us except for Ling Ling gave it a try.. which means I gave it a try too.. frankly speaking i didnt thought it was anything serious until when i came back to Woodlands and told my darling about it then he told me it was actually tobaco.. stupid me ... anyway i went ahead to try it.. didnt like it at all becoz all it does is make me sick.. yucks.. the fruity taste just infuse in ur mouth and you breathe out the smoke and that's it.. it doesn't do anything at all.. simply meaningless lo.. i sweared i will never try it again... once and that's it..

very relieved that the entire thing came to a end around 11+.. can't wait to go back home man.. hahha.. so me and Ling Ling.. we rushed onto a cab back home... went to meet my darling who drove me home from his place... hehehehe.. very glad that he is able to drive now.. even though it is a short distance.. at least it shows that his leg is recovering.. thank god..

Mushy Poem

i would NEVER believe it came out from his stinking mouth... hahaha... i tell you he is the most horrible guyfrenz anyone can ever have.. his mouth stinks.. there is absolutely nothing good with anything that comes out of his mouth.. hahaha.. if ever you hear something good and true from his heart.. always remember to frame it deep... becoz that moment wun last... hahaha

but he wrote a damn sweet poem to his gf... kaos... hahahaha.. what is this world becoming to?? Haha.. Square?? ok la.. he did tell me a few of the things that he want to do with his loved one.. sound very pathetic but sweet la i have to admit... and he was sweet to bring me to MT Faber.. knowing that I have never been there before in my life... hahaha

Difficulties of a cab driver in Singapore

just got back from my darling place... took a cab back from his place....

was talking to the cab driver throughout the journey even though it is just a short distance away... (only costs me $3 to reach home from his place).. hahaha...

the uncle (quite handsome btw) was complaining that business was very hard recently... he pointed out that there are now so many empty cabs around... everyone is fighting for a share of the pie... and the big problem is the pie is decreasing with more supply than demand... and he mentioned that the rise in cab fare seems to have result in the further decrease of the number of people taking cabs.. at first i thought cannot be what... it is only a 10cents increase.. i dun see much of a difference but maybe that is becoz i only take cabs when neccessary... and not very often.. hahaha... maybe someone else think differently.. or maybe becoz i only travelled short distances.. not long distances which is more expensive.. maybe that is when i will feel the heartpain from the increase in 10cent

but indeed i did notice the increase of empty cabs recently... last time i dun take cabs very often and whenever during the peak period of 8 - 9 when i need a cab i can't find one.. i always need to call for a cab despite where i am... things are usually worse around ulu HDB areas like Woodlands.. however recently cabs has become my common mode of transportation when i travelled between my darling place and my place, ... due to the lateness of the night and the dangers luking around my area... (lots of foreign workers drunk at night.. u never know what they can do)... and everytime i walked to the main road, i am able to get a can within 5 mins of waiting... hahahaha... at first i thought i am simply lucky... until today the cab uncle pointed out to me how many empty cabs drove past us during the entire journey.. and we counted more than 10 cabs within that short distance... wowow....

i asked for uncle to stop me by the main road instead of driving through all the bends, turns and corners to my block.. and he gave the brief comment that "haha.. you know woodlands very hard to get people hor" hahaha.. i think he maybe misunderstood my intention of being nice so that he can turn around and source for more people waiting for cabs by the roadside... i dunno... anyway that uncle was nice...

so i say.. no matter which line you are in... there are bound to be problems... cab drivers have their own difficulties of not earning enough.. office people have their own office politics to guard against everyday... politicions have no privacy and word of freedom in their life... sad case

Dramatic Week

next week i will have 2 more new colleagues in the office... plus Adam is flying down from London to train them.. wow.. the office is becoming more and more noisy... i think it has reached the point when i just want to stay away from all other affairs not related to mine.. becoz there are just too much going on.. and i can't take in all of them on my shoulders and in my brain..

so and so i am planning for a trip to Tanjung Pinang in Indonesia... to a water chalet in the middle of nowhere... reason for going there is just to bore myself to ultimate boredom.. hehe.. sound toopidz but yah it is true... sometimes u just need some fresh air to get away from the busy life of Singapore and clear your mind / brain.. and of coz refresh yourself.. so yah.. i am really interested in this trip and no matter what the lady said abt how poorly equiped the chalet is for normal singapore expectations, i think i am alright with it.. anyway i grew up in the kampong of Msia.. i believe nothing can be worst.. hahaha.. and the pictures of the sea and sunset look fantastic.. i must go..

just came back from my darling place... poor thing.. since his accident he haven't been able to walk much as the right leg is horribly swollen around the ankle due to some broken and chipped bones... so other than going to the bike shop, police station and insurance agents, he haven't been moving around Singapore.. i think for him being able to step out of the house now is such a relief.. so for the past 3 weekends, i have to go over to his place to accompany him.. no complaints though.. but i think he is just bored being cropped at home for so long... not being able to go out and eat the various food he loves..

spent the entire morning and afternoon watching TV and surfing the net... then around evening time, a group of his secondary frenz Junxian, Ah Xiong, Wenliang, Ah Boon came over to his place to accompany him for drinks (usually they will meet up at some kopitiam but becoz this time he can't move, they shifted the meeting place to his house).. hehe... i think he is very happie to have them there to accompany him... and i am very happie for him tooo.. to be able to drink with his frenz.. and meet up with them for a chit chat.. hehe

FINAL THEORY TEST

hehehe.. i am on my way to the next step of owning a car... i brought my advance theory of driving booklet today and i booked my final theory test date as shown below..





hehehe... decided that for someone like me who knows nuts about cars.. it is better to do some reading up before actually driving a car myself.. hehehe.. so here we go.. let hope i will pass this one too.. then i will only have the final obstacle to cross.. hehehehe practical driving test... hehehe

suddenly i am confident again.. hahahah... before passing the basic theory i was so depressed and stressed.. hahahaha.. thinking i will nv pass.. now is a different story... chiong ah!!!!!

u have no idea how happie i am.. i am grinning and smiling and laughing all the way back to office.. there is this huge grin by the side of my mouth that i tried very hard to cover.. hahahaha...

but the moment i saw the "PASSED" word on my computer monitor screen... i almost wanted to scream and shout YES.. hahaha.. the moment i stepped out of the driving centre, i can't wait to call my darling who is still sleeping to tell him that I passed... i thought he will be seriously happie to hear that.. but haha.. i woke him up in the middle of his sleep... so he still a bit blur blur... hahaha... just mumbled good lo... anyway. ya ultimately is I passed.. i am on my way to my driving lessons and final theory and hopefully a driving license of my own... hahaha...

i still can't believe i passed.. hahaha... the satisfaction is so much more than passing any exams in uni i think.... what is 50 MCQ questions.. chicken feet... hahaha.. wait for my final theory test before i start to panic again.. hahaha

hey come to think of it hor... i am already 24 yrs... most of my frenz around me have a class 3 driving license... my darling got class 2, class 2A, class 3 & class 4 and i am already so happie passing my basic theory... easily contented gal.. hahaha

BASIC THEORY TEST

the only test that scares the shit out of me...
seriously...

i thought i have seen worse in university life... 3 or 4 long essay questions to be answered with a short period of 2 hours... having to prepare for exams with a textbook that is 300 to 400 pages thick and a stack of lecture notes totally covered with text.. to have MCQ during any tests or exams in poly or uni was such a relief...

but but Basic theory test is really my dead point... i failed it so many times i got scared of it.... and now i got to take it again... arghhhh... i can't believe i am scared of a test consisting of 50M MCQ questions... what the f***....

wish me luck guys.. although i believe i will bring more bad news than gd news tomolo... this is one test i am doomed to fail always...
