Quickie...

Very late lei.. actually I wanna to shut down my computer and go to sleep lei.. but I thought I will just do a quick one for today...

Decided on Fri that I can no longer stand my yellowish and dry hair.. so I went to the hair salon around noon time yesterday to do something about it.. actually wanna to do rebonding but the hair stylist mentioned that the main culprit for the ugliness of my hair is becoz of the yellowish colour at the end that makes it dry and unhealthy looking... like dry grass.. and she said I dun really need to spend the money on rebonding since my hair is already pretty straight.. i think what she said make sense.. I certainly dun wan 169 bucks on rebonding to realise that there is actually not much difference.. so i did recolouring of my hair... to get rid of the yellowish ends.. trimmed off the split ends... and did a treatment to soften the hair as well as put moisture back into the hair.. total damage after 2 hours.. SGD 209 bucks.. freaking hell.. what do ladies always have to spend so much to take care of their appearance..

At night went with dar to drink with Wenliang, Ah Boon and Derick at Blue Heaven till abt 12++ coming to 1am in the morning.. then I drove Ah Boon back to Sembawang and then drove back to dar's house... when I get to drive my way.. i think i didnt feel that stressed after all.. besides worrying abt the no sense of direction.. when Ah Boon and dar are both giving me directions on whether to turn left or turn right... you know.. guys when they are a bit tipsy.. they tend to behave a bit weird... dar say turn right and point left and for that moment.. i got super pissed becoz i have to decide on whether i wan to keep to the left or right lane.. but anyway it's over and i drove safety back home..

Woke up in the mrning and went for lunch at Thomsen Road "He Ji" with dar's parents, uncles, cousins and grandma. Dar's mum said the noodles very nice.. waited super long for it.. turned out.. it wasnt as superb as it was said to be... I have eaten much better wantan noodles than that... frankly speaking... the chilli was simply just Maggi chilli sauce diluted with water... which makes it completely watery and tasteless..

The whole bunch of us then went to IMM in 3 different cars.. in the end dad and uncle got a parking lot and we left after turning round and round the carpark trying unsuccessfully to get a lot... I am superb inpatient.. I just cant stand waiting for something.. such a waste of time and effort and whatever..

So we left IMM and went to Pasir Ris farmway.. to visit the pet farms.. which I have heard about long time ago but never have a chance to see it for myself.. went there with that impression that there will be lots of dogs, puppies, kittens etc to see.. turned out.. not a lot wor.. just perhaps 10 or so?? Very little and no kick at all... Jinlong came and met up with us... saw some cute puppies but super expensive la.. 888 bucks for a small silky terrier.. *vomit blood*. some dogs brushes against my legs and immediately I got rashes on my legs for the entire rest of the day.. I didnt know I am THAT allegeric to dogs' fur lo... still talk about getting a dog.. haha..

Then we went to Changi Airport.. becoz we need to send dar' grandma off... as she is going back to Melbourne.. waited from about 5pm to 7pm... ate at Swensen.. not very satisfied with my meal.. (I order Caesar salad, prawn dippers, crayfish pasta..) even though I was quite full... but haiz.. expensive and not satisfying meal is simply not enjoyable.. I was quite sulky thoughout the meal.. not going to step back into Swensens for quite some time I guess..

Ok sleep time..

One guy just stepped on my toe on e mrt....!! So painful... And e best is he didnt get off until i patted him on his shoulders.... Damnz!

Now i am suffering from internal bleeding underneath my toe... Blue black lo. *Ouch*

Boring...

Today is such a boring day man..

All dressed up to go for lunch at Grand Hyatt Hotel where my company is participating in the Marine Money Asia conference.. (my colleagues said they had very nice french pastries for lunch yesterday!!). but dar forbid me to go becoz french pastries will make me fatter... and considering I am trying hard to lose weight and I havent started exercising when I should, I decided I better not go... do not add on to the fats that I already had.. so byez to my favs...*haiz*

Office is sooo quiet today.. Ling Ling, Matt, Paola all in London... entire morning only 4 out of 13 people are in... then 2 went to the conference for lunch.. left only 2... then Adrina popped out for lunch... so I am all alone in the office... the rest are all at the conference.. 2 were at Maritime Week.. one went MIA..

Meanwhile, I am still thinking about what should I have for lunch and where should I go for lunch.. damn sianz.. taking into consideration that maybe i should starve myself and skip lunch and perhaps I can reduce a little fats.. hahaha

Desserts ~ Simply Inresistible...

OMG I know I am supposed to be on a diet...

But dunno why recently.. I seem to have a super strong cravings for desserts....tiramisu, cheesecake, black forest fruit cake, french pastries, tapas... blu blu

Goodness... once my pay is out.. I am heading straight for Out of the Pan (simply love their tiramisu man!!) or Bakerzin (their tapas are great.. although not the best) or Delifrance (crepe suzette is the one)...

But look at this!!!!!!!!... OH MY GOD!!!!look at all the cakes.... I am most interested in their wedding buffet man.. even though it is damn expensive and for a min of 100 people which is surely impossible for me to have... but wow!!!! Would anyone be interested in having that as your wedding buffet catering.. please please.. ask me!!!! Hahaha

Mooncakes?

Everyone is holding on to a box of nicely packaged mooncakes today on e mrt. And me? Hah tried to order mine today and it is OUT OF STOCK! Clever right? Last min right? Hah now heaven is punishing me by asking me to eat all e not nice traditional lotus or bean paste mooncakes. Yucks.

Bridal Bouquet

On leave today.. holiday leave.. but now it seem more like sick leave to me... but anyway... dar is supposed to be on leave with me but he got called back to the office... unncessarily.. but what to do.. a job is a job isnt it??

I wanted to try to sleep but i can't.. the weather is very hot and I very scared that if I sleep right, I will wake up much worse... due to the heat...

So I sat in front of my com and started looking at bridal bouquets.. and I found this...



Yummy... strawberries on a bridal bouquet..?? why strawberries?? Why not grapes, apples, oranges or bananas..?? Hmmm am I supposed to eat as I go?? Hungry..?? Thirsty?? Just take a munch of your strawberries bridal bouquet...

I am OFF again!

This time back to Genting..

Hmm.. me and dar just came back from a short Genting one day trip when we went Fraser Hill.. that was like.. hmmm last month?? Hahha

And yeah you're right.. we are going back there again... *duhz*... this time with my parents, my bro and his gf...

Reason for choosing Genting (even though me and dar is so sick and bored of that place) is because

1. My parents havent been there for a very super doopy long time.. the last time they went up was like 4 or 5 years ago... and my dad's impression still reminds at the stage where Genting only have 3 hotels, a pond and a antique car's trial.. (that was like ages ago k.. when I was like 5 years old!!) Goodness.. anyway my bro's gf nv been there too... and he wanted to bring her there.. so kill two birds with one stone..

2. We are too poor to go anywhere else.. I am damn stuck with Malaysia la.. (U believe me??)

3. Mummy dun wan to go too far becoz Ah Gong's condition still very unstable.. we planned to go Tioman but she is afraid if my aunties are going to call her at night, she is not able to take a boat back.. and if we are going to go Phuket.. she will not be able to get a plane back.. so we decided on Genting so if anything crop up, we can always get my KL auntie & uncle to drive up to Genting, pick her up and go back to my grandpa's place.. it will be so much better if we drive but too bad.. Pica is too small to take in 4 extra people in the backseat and we are too poor to afford a MPV.. hahaha

Aiyah never mind la.. still a holiday of its own.. at least dar is coming with me... hahaha.. ultimately.. it is still a holiday.. away from work.. to a cold cold holiday in the midst of clouds!!!

Babies??

After reading my frenz Jian Ling aka Jerlynn's blog... I dun think I ever wanna to have a baby of my own...

Too scary liao wor....

Anyway still have to say congrats to her for her promotion to become a mother at the young age of 22 yrs old... when her kid is 20 she is only 42 lei.. hahaha... always a advantage to give birth at a younger age...

Just came back from Litque and Carol's solemnization ceremony at Changi Village Hotel.. hah.. another one just got married... when will it be our turn?? Anyway the solemnization ceremony at Changi Village Hotel is beautiful with the sea and the sunset as the background.. but it comes with a cost... so when you hear the costs, somehow everything seem to become normal and nothing much after all.. hahaha... I thought I always wanna something like that.. but when I was there, all I have in mind is.. "that was it??" Wedding march, throwing of rose petals, blu blu blu from the solemnisar.. then I do I do... exchange of rings... signing of documents... proceed for buffet dinner.. eat eat eat.. take photos take photos.. go home.. "huh.. that's all"... what do you expect man..? Hahaha

Company Gathering

Yesterday we had a company gathering after work.. this type of special occasion only arises when we have special guests visiting from abroad.. yesterday we got Adam, (who is here for two months), Nick from Blue Communications and Alisdair from our London office... so it's celebration time..

Left work at about 7.15pm.. Alan, Adam, Adrina and Paola took Daryl's car wheras me, Nic, Hong Liang went for dinner first while waiting for Cowan.. cant afford to drink on a empty stomach and knowing our bosses, they usually head straight for drinks without food..

So after dinner, we took MRT down to Raffles and walked towards Bacchus Boathouse at the Fullerton Boathouse House.. I have never been there before even though I have heard alot of good reviews on the food and especially the view... actually that was the primary reason why I decide to go in the first place.. hahaha.. we had some difficulties getting there though.. but anyway we managed to reach there at about 8pm.. and the views was really spectacular... it overlooked the Esplanade, One Fullerton, Singapore River, Boat Quay with all the tall office buildings as a backdroup.. I didnt manage to take a photo.. hahaha.. had champagne and a good chat round the table..

Then we headed through Indochine Waterfront Restaurant at Asian Civialisation Museum for food and dinner... didnt manage to get a table at the beginning so we started off with another round of drinks... I realised I am very chatty when I have some alcohol content in my stomach.. I was chatting with everyone about everything under the sky.. hahahaha... finally we got a table..even though I am not very hungry, I tucked into the food anyway..after all I dont have much chance to eat at such an expensive classy restaurant.. we had Indochine Platter and the Indochine House Salad to start off with... followed by the main course of rice, French Beef Stew Indochine Style, Cambodian Style Chilli and Basil Chicken, Cambodian Seafood in a Thick Coconut Curry and Stir Fried Kang Kong..

After dinner, it was pretty late man.. so considering that we have work the other day, we set off for home.. missing out the dessert which was Sticky Rice with Mango.. anyway not my favourite dessert (I would have gone for Bananas Fritters with Vanilla Icecream or Chocolate Fondue!!) but I would love to try it too.. Frankly speaking the food isnt nice man.. ahhahaha it is pretty normal for the price you are paying.. i would rather pay to eat at the hawker centre.. perhaps the food will taste soo much better...

Anyway me, Nic and Hong Liang shared a cab home... couldnt get a cab at Boat Quay despite it being a Thursday night.. so we walked all the way to City Hall Peninsula Plaza.. funni lei.. there got a lot of cabs wor.. how come those cab drivers never thought of going to Boat Quay?? Anyway I got home at 1am in the morning, showered, washed up and it is straight to bed.. less than 6 hours of sleep before I got to wake up this morning for work.. hahaha..

Anyway it is a good night, after all..

Fucking bitch man. Nv get things done 4 me (she can reply my emails 3 mths later after e student exam is over n when she is no longer needed) yet expect me to do things immediately for her. She is capable of shooting emails to everyone in e academic dept regardless whether they r relevant or not. To think i was so nice to her. *puai*
