missing you...

Just came back from my darling's place... went over after work yesterday to accompany him overnight... becoz today he is off to Batam to attend a cousin's wedding dinner... hmm.. actually he has yet to set off to Batam.. still at Harbourfront Ferry Terminal waiting for his ferry... however the missing symptons have already settled deep in my heart...

Yeh.. even though he is only off for one day... even though he will be back tomolo... (yipppess dar just called me while I am writing this!!) Told me that he is on the ship (which is actually a ferry la... dum dum) oredi and he will be setting off soon.. this is the second call I received ever since I reached home from him.. poor dar dar also missing me like crazy... so used to spending weekends together.. and doing things together I guess

Somemore I will be going to Msia next Thurs so I wont be able to spend time with him next week also... even though the next next week we will be going overseas to Genting together.. I can't wait seriously.. anyway now I am still missing him...

I think it is rather unique and beautiful... actually not becoz of the concept, not becoz it is of practical use but becoz i really like the sun, moon and stars decorations on it.. haha

Stupidity of (some) humans

Yesterday morning around 6+ coming to 7+... my entire family was woken by my mum's HP ringing away in the kitchen and poor me actually got woken up one hour before my appointed waking up time.. imagine how pissed I am... I hate people waking me up early in the morning (Mr L.W.E.S... you get the hint to stop smsing me early in the morning 7am with a forwarded good morning sms eh...)

Anyway my mum in her black panda looking eyes (of coz after a late night of recorded Korea soap dramas) dragged her feets to the kitchen to answer the call. The next thing you know, she started rushing around the house packing her stuffs for work.. nono wait.. u are only supposed to start work at noon.. why are you going so early she never even bother to reply to me and my dad's questions before rushing out of the house.... come on la... she is just a pancake store helper.. what the hell could have happen to make her rush down back to her store immediately?? (and i thought only I get such wake up calls in the morning when I was working in Deli..)

Didnt get to speak to her until at night when I got back home from work.. asked her what happen... and she told me store got mini explosion lo... stupid partner always do something toopidz... try to light up the gas stove, in the end kana explosion (we are talking about the old gas stoves where you need to open the gas first then use a burner or a light whatever you call it to start a fire)... ok mini explosion sounds all right.. things like that do happen sometimes.. then why you need to rush down.. none of your business... here comes the shocking part... the toopidz colleague burned her face and hair and then have to be rushed to hospital ma.. i not there who take care of the store.... I am like how the hell did that happen!!! if you burned your hands or body I can understand... how can you possibly burn your face!!!

Guess what... the toopidz lady was LOOKING DOWN at the stove when she was trying to light up the fire... OF COZ YOU BURN YOUR FACE LA...YOU IDIOT... WHO THE HELL LOOK DOWN AT THE STOVE WHEN YOU ARE LIGHTING IT UP... even kids know how to stretch out their hands and light up the stove with one arm length la.... how can a auntie who cooked so many meals for their kids not know this fact...

To that I can only have 3 explainations:
1) she dun cook for her kids, perhaps she nv cook in her life.
2) she have never used a gas stove in her life
3) she is just plain toopidz....

A reality story in SG

Work is a routine in every Singaporean lifestyle. It takes up most of your time together with your sleeping time. Thus leaving you the bare min to spend time with your loved ones around you. What most ppl do is have a meal or drink together for a chat, catch a show in e cinema or on TV or take a walk in Orchard Road or City Hall. And i always hear this "today not free i do it tomolo" or "weekdays not free i have a meal with my parents or frenz over e weekend". What if they are no longer there tomolo? What if there is no tomolo for u? Will you regret not doing the things now instead of planning it for the future be it tomolo, e next day you are free or e next sat or sun? I guess all humans living in this realistic world of money goes thru this cycle of not having enough time to do all e things that need to do and spending ample time with their loved ones. How pathetic life can be?

New Eeyore

Last Sat was Eeyore day... you know why?? Becoz in order to get a lifetime Mini Toons membership card, we have to spend $50 dollars in a single receipt and so we brought 3 EEyore items at one shot... Sound a little crazy right..?? Yah I think so too.. hahaha

Anyway this was the first thing I saw and wanted when I stepped into the Mini Toons shop at Yishun Northpoint...
 

I stood there staring at the pillow for quite some time before darling came up to meet me... I know I must get it.. (another reason was becoz I am too fucking short man.. the shelf is so high and I can't fucking hell reach the top to get the pillow.. damnz..) anyway darlingz came and got it for me...

Then he saw this Eeyore wearing a diaper soft toy.. and he decided to get that too... hahahaha... we just cannot resist the temptation of getting Eeyore.. (I took a pic of it.. but haiz... it is in Dar's HP leh... so got to delay posting the pics again..... after getting these two.. we thought "ok enough for the day".. walked to the counter and here comes the lifetime membership promotion... and I thought "ok.. we might be getting more Eeyores from Mini Toons in the future so why not" Hahaha...

In the end we spent another half to one hour roaming the small shop to top up the remaining... and in the end we got a Eeyore bloster... (yah the pic is also in my dar's HP leh.. hahaha).. hahaha... i felt like a small little ger hugging 3 Eeyores around Northpoint.. hahaha...

Anyway it is all good.... hahaha

Undiscovered Beauty of Changi V

Sometimes in SG, if you dun have transportation, it can be a hassle to get to places... especially nice and ulu places like Changi V. Tell me, who will specially take a bus or MRT all the way to Changi Airport / Bedok / Tampines from Woodlands and take another bus to Changi Village.. personally I won't... (Thinking back, I can't believe I travelled from Woodlands all the way to study at Temasek Poly for 3 years... 4 hours journey to and from school.. wow... quite an achievement right? I always got people giving me the wow factor when they hear that I stayed at Woodlands and studied at Tampines.. haha).

Okok that is not the main reason for this blog.. the main reason is Changi V is a super nice place lo.. frankly speaking I have never been to that part of Changi before... you want to know why? Because I have never been to Pulau Ubin... hahaha... you still want to know why? Because I dunno how to cycle!!... I am learning.. very slowly... but yah I am learning... but for now darling will still have to be contented ferrying me on a bicycle for two.. hehe...

anyway darling brought me there one of the weekend some weeks ago... (I am lagging again right?? At least my pics are...) for a nice stroll during sunset and a nice satisfying dinner at The Terminal overlooking the waterfront... wow... that is so sweet u know... here are some pics of the lovely moments for you guys....

Vain Gal..

Ok. After many chit chats with my dar, my colleagues and my frenz, I realised that outer appearance do play a part as a first impression...

A said today "before you get the chance to know the person inside, of coz the only thing that you can base on is looks. The person will of coz have to look comfortable and good to you before you are willing to bring the friendship / relationship further...". Hmmm.. come to think of it, I think there are certain truth in what he say...

So after much consideration, I decided to go through the extra effort each day to put on at least a tiny bit of makeup on my face before I step out of my house... hahaha...started doing it since last Sat... and I am still doing it now. Not too bad eh.. hahaha... trying to make it into a habit... but I certainly wun become as bad as feeling very demoralised without any makeup on...

I think makeup certainly wun change a ugly duckling to a swan... to me, it only serves the purpose of enhancing my looks by making my face look more radiant and bright... and I certainly wun be shy to step out without makeup on my face and being natural...

Anyway I got a little vain after putting my makeup on.. so I started taking photos of myself in the mirror... the results didnt turn out to be that bad after all.. so here you goes guys... the two best photos so far.. hehe

 
  

Shopping!!

Brought a couple of stuffs over this weekend... as the pictures are stored in my HP camera.. and due to the fuck-up USB connection between my HP and my computer... there is a delay in the posting of the photos..but anyway here you go...

Yippess it is the beginning of September.. and as my darling promised me, he brought me two new tumblers to add on to our precious collection... hahaha... cute cute eh?? hehehe.. brought this on Sat night.. actually should consider it Sun in the wee hours of the morning eh...

New Makeup Kit & Moisturizer
 
My new motto of the month is to improve my personal image and therefore the first step that I am going to make is to make the bloody effort to put on makeup everytime I step out of the door.. and to enable me to do so... I will of coz need to protect my skin with a coat of my new moisturiser and a new make up kit as the brush hairs of my previous makeup kit are all dropping off.. anyway lousy stuffs la.. wait until I have the money to buy a better and more expensive one.. I just have to be contented with what I got..

Trying to look pretty and therefore I got new earrings to add on to my ever-increasing collection.. hehehe... they look pretty normal but yah I dun like my earrings to stand out too much anyway... so I like them plain and simple.. hehehehe... nice?? Anyway cheapo stuffs again!! hahaha.. spent only $5 for 3.. lelong lelong...

Ugly duckling......

I am super pissed...

I am super pissed about the super doopy inbalance between pretty females, average females and ugly females...

Now I have really opened my eyes wide open and see for myself how biased guys are towards pretty females with a good figure.... dun even have to say other guys.. even my own darling goes "woo hoo" whenever a pretty ger with a good figure walk past...

My female frenz will go " aiyah.. guys will never get enough of pretty gals.. each gal is more pretty than another... what matters is inner beauty... without that you will always be easily overtaken or replaced by another pretty gal"

Now I know why there is this word "BIMBO".. it stands for pretty gals with no brains... they can't work but there are always "chee koh peis" out there willing to hire them and give them a high salary to be a flower vase to attend cocktail parties and functions with....

Arghh.. ok now for the reason why I am so pissed with... there is this colleague of mine who is a super doopy BIMBO.. pretty, vain but no brains and can't work... but within the 2 mths that she was with the company she got poached by other companies twice.. each with a higher salary, better benefits and a car... and all she does is go for cocktails, coffee, lunches and dinners with her boss.. wah kaos.. the industry that we are working with is such a specialised and male-dominated industry and of coz I can understand why she get poached twice... becoz everyone that she liased with are males!! Haiz.. noone poached me so far.. hahaaha... although I dun get to meet ppl much.. hahaha...

Ugly duckling will always be a ugly duckling... unlikeable and undesirable... other than makeup on my face there is really nothing much I can do... figure I dun have.. boobs I dun have... even plastic surgery dun wan to take me in.... what else can I do..? Maybe dar is right.. I am a failure from the very min I am born into this world...
